Research Assistant for Cognitive Drone Development

We, the Parallel Architecture and System Software research group, are looking for one or two research assistants for Cognitive Drone Development based on [Dji Matrice 100 Developere Drone] (https://store.dji.com/product/matrice-100) (or Intel Aero Ready to Fly Drone) and NVIDIA Jetson TX2 GPU supercomputer in a module for AI. If you are motivated graduate students who want to learn and explore this area of computing, and enjoy to get your hands dirty by fixing hardware and software bugs and developing hardware and software solutions, this will be fore you. The candidate must be graduate students in the CSE department in good standing. This is standard (20 hours/week + tuition) RA position, starting immediately. There will be a lots of developement using C/C++, Python and other languages on Linux including Android platform for image processing and machine learning. So preference will be given to the candidates who have those experiences.
